Please describe why someone applying to graduate school who is interested in a female-friendly department should choose your department.
The faculty in the Department of Physics at the University of Cincinnati work hard to provide a congenial environment for all students. The faculty include two female full professors, one of whom has been the Head. More than one third of our graduate students are women. The rate of satisfaction among graduates is high, and the university's ranking by international students is near the top among U.S. institutions.
